Who we are

Carly’s love for numbers was ignited at a very early age when she would help with her mother’s bookkeeping business to earn some extra pocket money. Carly began her career in banking and financial services, with a focus on customer service and lending, but it was in 2014 that she realised her passion lied with bookkeeping and she began working at a large and successful bookkeeping company. Here, she worked for over six years as a bookkeeper, BAS agent and office manager and gained a solid understanding of small businesses needs and requirements. During this time, she serviced a range of clients across a range of sectors including construction, trade, retail, hospitality, Allied Health and more, helping them to achieve their goals and make their businesses thrive.  

Vander Books was established in 2018 and has grown to service clients locally in the Shoalhaven and NSW South Coast, as well as remotely across Australia. Vander Books’ information, technology and software allows business owners to put their time and skills back into their business, while Carly takes care of their financial reporting with knowledge, efficiency, and precision.
